Landlord Setup Guide

Set Up Your Dashboard in 7 Steps

From signing in for the first time to your first automated rent reminder — here's everything you need to get LandlordHQ working for you.

Step-by-step
How to get your account up and running
1
Open Your Invite Link
Your LandlordHQ admin will send you a unique invite link. Click it to open the signup page. This link is one-time use, so don't share it with anyone.
Open the link in a regular browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) — not inside the Telegram app.
2
Create Your Account
Enter your desired username on the signup page. You'll then receive a one-time verification code via Telegram. Enter the code to confirm your identity and activate your account.
Your Telegram account must be active to receive the verification code. Make sure the LandlordHQ bot hasn't been blocked.
3
Explore Your Dashboard
After signup, you'll land on your personal dashboard. This is where you'll manage properties, tenants, payments, and expenses. Take a moment to explore the sections in the top navigation.
The dashboard works fully on mobile — so you can manage everything from your phone.
4
Add Your First Property
Go to the Properties tab and click "Add Property". Fill in the building details:
Property Name — e.g. "Sunrise Apartments"
Address, City, State, ZIP
Number of Units — total units in the building
Type — e.g. Residential, Commercial
Status — Active, Inactive, or Maintenance
You can have multiple properties. Repeat this step for each building you manage.
5
Add Your Tenants
Go to the Tenants tab and click "Add Tenant". For each tenant, fill in:
First & Last Name
Unit Number — must be unique per tenant
Property — which building they live in
Lease Amount — monthly rent
Rent Due Day — e.g. Day 5 of each month
Move-in Date & Lease End Date
The unit number is how the system identifies each tenant. Use something consistent like "A1", "Unit 3B", or "101".
6
Share Each Tenant's Link Code
After adding a tenant, the system generates a unique link code for them. Share this code with your tenant so they can link their Telegram account. The link code is visible in the Tenants table.
Send your tenant to the Tenant Guide so they know exactly how to use their link code.
7
You're Live — Automation Takes Over
Once a tenant links their Telegram account, LandlordHQ will automatically send them rent reminders on their due day, accept payment uploads via Telegram, and flag overdue accounts on your dashboard.
No more manual follow-ups. The bot handles reminders, confirmations, and status tracking — 24/7.
